Already successful with a wide range of products (apparel, footwear, fragrances, leather goods, eyewear, watches, home textiles, belts and mobile phones), LACOSTE announces today the expansion of its activities to the fashion Jewelry market. The Crocodile continues thus to develop its offer for women.

This new Fashion Jewelry collection was created to bring a complementary touch of audacity and fashion to theLACOSTE feminine look. Bracelets, necklaces, brooches, bag and mobile phone charms… Overall, there will be 5 ranges of innovative and creative jewels. Thanks to a contemporary design, to the quality and the uncommon association of fabrics, the collection will be faithful to the aesthetic codes of the brand and to the apparel collection.

The collection will embody the roots and true values of the Crocodile: authenticity, “joie de vivre” and relaxed
elegance. In order to develop this fashion Jewelry line, LACOSTE S.A. signed a worldwide licence agreement for 4 years with the GL Bijoux Group. Successful with a unique know-how since 1917, and well known for the quality of its products, the GL Bijoux Group is the European leader for the production and distribution of fashion and fine Jewelry. The French-based firm has been trustfully collaborating for years with many international fashion and luxury brands.

This agreement includes design, production, and distribution of LACOSTE fashion Jewelry. The products’ launch will take place in September 2010 at the LACOSTE Fashion Show during the New-York Fashion Week and will present the first Spring/Summer 2011 collection.

Christophe Chenut, CEO of LACOSTE S.A., says: “The LACOSTE fashion Jewelry is part of the strategy developed with our partners to propose a more complete feminine offer to our clients. This new licence confirms our willingness to increase our share among women to accompany the apparel and leather goods development.”
